Learn how to connect a Bluetooth Mobile Card Reader to the Auctria Admin app.
There are several steps to follow when connecting a Mobile Card Reader to the Auctria Admin app. The Admin App is available for both iOS and Android devices, and the steps below apply to either platform.
Steps
- Log into your event on the Admin App.
- Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the screen and choose Settings from the list.
- Tap the Reader button at the top of the list.
- Choose Bluetooth reader from the options.
Skip The Bluetooth Reader
You can forgo a Bluetooth reader entirely and choose the This iOS/Android device option instead, which turns your phone into a Tap-to-Pay reader.
- Choose your preferred reader from the list. If you haven't set up a device yet, tap Add new device at the bottom of the page. The app will search for nearby devices — follow the prompts to pair the device.
Naming Multiple Readers
If you have multiple Bluetooth readers, we recommend renaming them so you can tell them apart in your list.
- Choose the newly paired device from your list.
- If the connection was successful, a confirmation message will appear, and the Reader button will change from red to green.
