Learn how to add a button to your event website that links to another page or external web address.
To create a linked button, add a Button element to a page and configure its Click behavior using Add Behavior.
Steps
- Open the Website Editor on the page you want to edit.
- Drag the More Column Content element into the column space where you want the button to appear.
- Select Button from the Choose Content window to insert it onto the page.
- With the Button element selected, click Add Behavior in the settings panel, then click Click to add the Click property.
- Click the Click property to open its settings. The Target Type defaults to None.
- Click the Target Type dropdown and choose either Page or Web Address.

Selecting Page adds a second dropdown listing all pages on your event website. Custom pages appear first, followed by system pages.
Finding special pages
System-generated pages (such as Register) appear toward the bottom of the list. Scroll down if you don't see the page you're looking for.
Target Type: Web Address
Selecting Web Address adds a URL field for the external address you want to link to, along with an optional checkbox to Open in a new window.
