How To Add Early Bird Tickets
Learn how to make tickets available for early birds before regular sales of your admission tickets.
⏰ Early Bird Tickets
Early Bird Tickets are discounted or limited-time tickets typically sold before your regular tickets go on sale. You can add them just like any other ticket, just set an earlier Availability and (optionally) limit the Quantity.
If you’re using a smart template, your tickets will automatically display on your event website when available—no extra steps needed!
📝 Add an Early Bird Ticket
- Go to Tickets and create a new item for your Early Bird offering.
- Set the Tickets Per Sale to define how many admissions are included in the ticket purchase.
- Set the Availability start and end dates to open and close early ticket sales before regular ticketing or event night.
- (Optional) Limit the Quantity if you're offering a set number of Early Bird tickets.
🎟️ Early Bird Single Admission
This guide will teach you how to create a single early bird admission ticket in Auctria.

Open your **Auctria Dashboard**.
Click **Tickets** on the left sidebar.
Click **Add Ticket Item**.
Assign a unique **Item#** to the ticket, like [[EARLYBIRDTICKET]].
Type the ticket name into the **Title** field.
Add the ticket description to the **Description** field.
Type the ticket price into the **Value** field.
If early bird admissions are limited, set the available quantity in the **Quantity** field.
To sell early bird tickets before event night, use the **Override online bidding/sales start** field to set the sales start time for the early bird ticket to a time before the event date.
To end early bird ticket sales before the event, use the **Override online bidding/sales end** field to set the sales end time for the early bird ticket to a time before the event date.
Click **Add Ticket Item** to complete the action.
Recently added tickets will appear at the top of the **Add Ticket** page.
🪑 Early Bird Table Ticket
This guide will teach you how to create an early bird ticket for a Table of 8.

Open your **Auctria Dashboard**.
Click **Tickets** on the left sidebar.
Click **Add Ticket Item**.
Enter a unique **Item#** for the ticket, such as [[EARLYBIRDTABLE]].
Enter the **Title** for the ticket.
Enter the **Description** for the ticket.
Enter the price of the ticket in the **Value** field.
Enter the total number of admissions included in the purchase of this ticket in the **Tickets Per Sale** field. In this case, let's enter [[8]].
We also want to create a *Table* when this ticket is purchased, so let's check the **Create a table when sold** checkbox.
We only have 8 tables available to use as Early Bird tables. To limit the available quantity of these Early Bird Tables, we will enter [[8]] into the **Quantity** field.
To start selling our Early Bird tables early, we can set the **Override online bidding/sales start** field to a date and time before our event begins.
To ensure early bird sales stop before our event night, we can set the **Override online bidding/sales end** date and time to a point before the event begins.
Click **Add Ticket Item** to complete the action.
