Stripe
Stripe is a secure payment processor that handles all credit card transactions and safely stores credit card information.
How Credit Card Processing Works
While bidders and donors enter their credit card information through Auctria, all payments are processed directly through your Stripe account. Auctria never processes payments or handles funds.

How Charges Appear in Stripe
All charges from your event will appear in your Stripe account with the description: Charge for "your event name"
The event name matches what you've set in your Auction Details.
Using Stripe for Multiple Fundraisers
If you use Stripe for other purposes (such as accepting donations outside of Auctria), all charges will be combined in your regular Stripe payouts.
Consider a Separate Stripe Account
For easier tracking, you may want to create a separate Stripe account specifically for Auctria. Benefits include:
- Clearer separation between event and non-event transactions
- Ability to set manual payouts so you can control when funds are deposited
- Option to receive all event proceeds in one deposit after your event concludes
