How To Set The Next Item Number

IMPORTANT

If a numeric value is manually entered when you are adding a new item , that value +1 will be used to update the Next assigned item#. This does not apply to item numbers with letters as part of their value.

There may be cases where you want to set or reset the following automatically generated item number used when adding new items. There is an option for this in the main Items Dashboard.

Edit Item Number Options

The system will attempt to use the Next assigned item# field value as the next automatically generated item#.

INFORMATION

If the value set for the "Next assigned item#" is already in use, Auctria will look for the following free number to use in place of the one entered.
