How to Recognize External Payments
Sometimes you need or want to give your guests a credit or recognize a payment made outside of Auctria. There are two common methods that can be used.
You can use the Record Payment function and select the Other payment method tab, then select an appropriate type from the drop-down selector.
An example from a demonstration event.You can add different payment options as needed; see Checkout Payment Options for more information on adding addition drop-down options to choose from. Adding details to the Additional Notes field can also be a useful reference.
Using a specifically created For Sale type item, you can use the Record Purchase with Payment Method set to None. You would enter a negative amount for the credit you want to give and then "force" the transaction through.

Clicking the Try And Force Bid button will process the transaction and give the bidder a credit equal to the amount used.
